Reduce flood risk

The scheme will reduce flood risk to 250 residential and 100 commercial properties and the A36 key strategic trunk road in central Salisbury (currently at risk in a 1 in 100 year [1% annual probability] river flood event). The risk will also be reduced at key regeneration sites within the city, enabling future growth and regeneration.

The map below illustrates how the preferred option will significantly reduce flood risk to Salisbury city centre. This includes key transport routes within the city. This map is based on the projected flood risk in a 1 in 100 (1%) annual probability flood event.
